| Comments On This Program | One of WebmasterQuest's underrated features that I wish every TE had is the page that shows you all kinds of statistics about the previous seven days of traffic they have sent to your page. Stats about your visitors include which brand of browser they used, the spoken language their machine is set to, their screen dimensions, time zone, and a world map pinpointing where the visitor they sent you is located geographically. Aside from the obvious informational value of this data, its very fascinating to have access to these details.
Make sure to put great descriptions with your links as they have a web-based bookmarking system which is something else every TE should have. It's irritating when you see a site you'd be interested in visiting later, when you have more time, and you have to click through to the next site to keep earning traffic credits, never to see that page again. WebmasterQuest's bookmarking feature solves this dilemma with a simple solution. It is vital to have your URL descriptions read like ad copy in this instance because when others view the entry for your URL in their bookmarks, among all their other saved URLs, your comments will be the only connection they have to remembering what they were thinking at the time they decided they wanted to view your page again later. If it's left blank they're left with an often times meaningless and/or cryptic URL to go by.
The most recent new feature that I think is noteworthy is the dozen or so fun, simple Flash games. Each game you play earns an entry into a drawing for a large pageview credit jackpot. They also have a site of the day, the privilege of which goes to the member who bids the highest number of pageview credits.
Get the premium membership! And make sure to get the cheapest rate (annual); while it is a bit pricey, it's very worth your while. Among other frills, you get those oh-so-important randomly-assigned referrals and 25,000 pageview credits. Don't let WebmasterQuest's ranking on my list fool you, if it wasn't a great TE it wouldn't even be featured here. |
